ABOUT ME

My name is Laura van der Zee and I’m an independent film director based in Amsterdam. With a passion for both animation and live-action, I’ve created multiple short films that have been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide and have won multiple awards.

Alongside my fiction film work, I create cinematic commercials and branded films that blend style, intrigue, and strong visual storytelling. Drawing on themes of culture and society, I build distinctive worlds and narratives that captivate the viewer.
